Denis Jenkinson

(1921-1997) Motorsports writer and racer, “Jenks” (above left) raced motorcycles, sports cars, and rode to victory with Stirling Moss in the works Mercedes-Benz 300SLR at the 1955 Mille Miglia race, one of the four that he participated in—in 1956-7, he ran the works Maserati 350S and 450S. Jenkinson wrote for Motor Sport, Motor Cycling, among other magazines, and from 1947 – 1957 produced the annual Racing Car Review for Motor Sport. In 1957, he penned The Racing Driver.
