Fellow Brooklyn Tech graduate and MM&FF contributor Al Kirschenbaum has recently released a book that will blow your mind away. It is called the Mustang 5.0 Technical Reference & Performance Handbook. It is published by Robert Bentley Publishers and will be available by the time you read this. It sells for $34.95 and offers you complete VIN translations as well as engine, transmission and rear axle code deciphering tables. There are sections dedicated to each model year from 1979-1993, including the 1993 Cobra and Cobra R. All critical specifications and data are provided with suggested upgrades. It clocks in at nearly 450 pages! Consider it a must-have for your Mustang libratry.
