Milliken"s autobiography (1911- ) is also a chronicle of engineering developments in the airplane, automobile, and the auto racing industries. His career highlights include working on the experimental B-29, founding the Cornell Aeronautical Laboratory"s Transportation Research Division, heading his own research company, and laying the foundation for modern automotive chassis design in Race Car Vehicle Dynamics. Illustrations include vehicles he designed and tested. Appendices includes a summary of research and innovations in these areas, and Milliken"s professional positions, contributions, and honors. This member of the Sports Car Club of America Hall of Fame lives in the Buffalo, New York area.
