We raved about this when we first reviewed it in the April 2000 issue, and once again we see no reason to change our opinion. Not the most appealing of titles, and it'll probably take you until Burns' Night to get through its 460-odd pages, but if you can buy (or be given) only one Porsche book this year then this should be it. Well written, painstakingly researched and beautifully edited, it tells the full story ? as it says on the cover ? of the man, the race, the cars and the movie, and is itself a classic in the making.
